Violinist, Lucas Yeh!
Lucas Yeh began playing violin at age three and is recognized for his discipline, leadership, and passion. A straight-A+ homeschooled student, he currently serves as Concertmaster of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and has earned top honors in numerous Texas competitions, including 2nd place at the 2024 Juanita Miller Concerto Competition. A National YoungArts Finalist, Lucas has performed at Carnegie Hall and was featured on WFAA News for his musical achievements.
He studies with Professor Aaron Boyd at Southern Methodist University and has worked with renowned violinists including Cho-Liang Lin and James Ehnes. As President of the Chamber Music International Young Ambassadors, he inspires peers and frequently performs with his younger brother, Louie.
Outside of music, Lucas is passionate about Egyptology, science, culinary arts, and animals. He received a full-ride scholarship to Case Western Reserve University, where he will major in neuroscience on the pre-med track, with hopes of joining the World Doctors Orchestra to unite his love of music and medicine.
